Your money never sits in a Stub account: every sale lands in your own connected Stripe balance the moment it happens. Payouts release 5–7 business days after the last door closes. No rolling reserve, no holdback that appears later. You get the exact release date from day one, recomputed live off your event's own end date — if you postpone, the date moves with it, and we say so, never silently.

Cancel an event and our fee goes back to the buyer with the ticket price, automatically. That one is never your call, and never ours. For a refund a fan asks for themselves, you decide up front whether our fee comes back too. Either way they see the real number and a real date before they confirm, not the word 'processing'.

Sign up, publish a free or RSVP event, sell nothing to nobody, with no verification and no waiting. Paid tickets need one Stripe identity check first, which is Stripe's queue, not a person on our side reading your application. Start selling before it fully clears and nothing breaks: the money waits for you instead of the sale being blocked.

Switch resale on and every listing is capped at face value or below, checked on the server, on every listing, every time. This isn't a policy in a help article we promise to enforce; there is no route through the code that prices a resold ticket above what the first buyer paid.

Sold out isn't the end of the conversation. When a ticket frees up (a refund, a released hold), the waitlist gets first offer in the order people joined it. No blast email, no race, no refreshing at midnight to find out you lost to someone faster.

Scan on any phone with a browser — no app store, no hired hardware, no laptop on a trestle table. And when the venue's connection drops halfway through the doors, which it does, tickets keep verifying on the device itself and the scans sync when the signal comes back. Each one clears exactly once, online or off.
